When Windows Phone 7 was originally announced it was also announced that Pandora would be creating an app for it. That never happened, but now that Windows Phone 7.5 includes a fully HTML5-compatible hardware-accelerated version of Internet Explorer 9 and now that Pandora.com is HTML5 compliant, you can just log-in and play Pandora playlists through your phone's web browser. You might find the HTML5 site to be a little buggy, but if you try skipping a song or changing the volume in the Pandora player, it will probably start working. The site is also fairly graphic and javascript heavy, so you'll notice it might be a bit slow on mobile devices. Granted, once you get the music streaming, you'll have full multi-tasking capabilities! That's right, you can switch apps and use other programs as much as you want an the music will continue to stream. You don't even have to go back to the web browser to stop it. Just press one of the volume buttons and you'll have a pause/play button right there. As long as you don't start playing some other media, that media control will also let you resume whatever you were listening to... again, without having to go back to the browser.
Does all of this work with Bluetooth A2DP stereo systems, headphones, and car stereos you ask? Yes, indeed it does.
