We thought it might be fun to show you behind the scenes at pocketnow... I warned Brandon that this could be letting the magic smoke out... but he assured me it would be okay... so here we go...

First we take a look at my server closet which I operate at around 100 Watts... pretty impressive for a quad-core computer (home-built) with 1TB disk space (plus another for backup), 4GB RAM, dual HDTV tuner, and outputs to my 52" 1080p monitor, cable modem, 802.11n router, switch, NAS, and VoIP box, and UPS.

Next we look at the monitor, surround sound, bluetooth keyboard, and my laptop.

I don't have the big office setup like Brandon, I like to keep my hardware tucked away and out of sight, and as mobile as possible... Many of my articles are written in a comfortable chair on my garden patio under the shade of my maple tree and arbor.

So, there you go... the magic smoke has been let out. If it ruined it for you, blame Brandon. ;)
