Sony Xperia TX Hands On!
Sony announced a bevy of new Android smartphones during the IFA trade show in Berlin on Wednesday. None of them particularly blew us away, mainly because they run Android Ice Cream Sandwich, but there are some noteworthy specs to discuss when it comes to the Xperia T/TX.
The Xperia TX was the higher-end of the bunch (it will launch in some places as the Xperia T) and packs a 4.6-inch HD display with the company's Mobile Bravia Engine, NFC, a 13-megapixel camera capable of recording HD video and a front-facing camera for video chat. Sony was mum on the other specs although it does appear that the Xperia T X is rocking a dual-core processor.
We were expecting a bit more from Sony, which has to take on HTC's One X and Samsung's Galaxy S III. The TX just feels a bit underpowered to us and, ultimately, not much of an upgrade over what we're already getting with the Xperia ion and Xperia S. tchno.be/RYRYpX
