I got my hands on Fujifilm's first mirrorless camera, the Fujifilm X-Pro1 here at CES in Las Vegas. The Fujifilm X-Pro1 rocks a brand-new 16-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor, which should help Fujifilm take on the DSLR crowd and Sony's NEX series.
Three prime XF lenses will be available for the X-Pro1: XF18mmF2 R (27mm equivalent) f/2.0, XF 35mmF1.4 R (53mm equivalent) f/1.4, and XF60mmF2.4 R Macro (90mm equivalent) F/2.4. At the press event, Fujifilm divulged that they planned on releasing adapters to fit additional lenses in the future.
One of the niftiest features on the Fujifilm X-Pro1 is its 1.4-megapixel Generation Hybrid Multi Viewfinder which allows the shooter to transition instantly from electronic to optical. The Fujifilm X-Pro1 features a magnesium alloy body and shoots 1080p HD video. Although no price has been announced yet, Fujifilm reps hinted at an estimated $1700 for the body and $699 for the lenses. tchno.be/zQMTqr
