Why wait until November for your official taste of Ice Cream Sandwich?

It was just the other day when news hit about a working build of Ice Cream Sandwich being ported to the Nexus S, and while that's all well and good, just seeing the many photos wasn't enough. We wanted in on the action, too, because when we see a shiny new toy, we have to play with it.

After spending a few long hours rooting and hacking our own Nexus S, we're happy to report that Operation Ice Cream Sandwich was a success. The current build we have running isn't complete, so some features, like Face Unlock, are unavailable. Still, there's plenty to explore, and man does the Google's new OS taste good.
