SimplePay used Riverbed SteelConnect Gateway to go global in three months, building a globally-replicated redundant network, required for the financial industry — yet they can scale up and down as needed. Simple Pay, based in Sydney Australia, lets businesses and consumers securely send and receive payments online or through their mobile phone. Using Riverbed SteelConnect in AWS Marketplace, SimplePay has deployed several gateways in AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) to handle thousands of transactions per second — with heavy database use that must replicate and synchronize throughout the world.
