Researchers often have questions about security and compliance as it relates to running important genomic sequence data. Specifically, they need to understand how to meet guidelines and best practices set by government and grant funding agencies such as the National Institutes of Health. This session highlights how organizations are architecting for security and compliance for dbGaP. The presenters share insights into key considerations, best practices and lessons learned along the way regardless of where the data resides (in an investigator lab; an institutional network; an agency-hosted data repository; or the cloud).
