The new GoPro HERO5 Black features a 2” touchscreen, 3 microphones, it's completely waterproof without a case, video stabilization and voice command. GoPros still don’t come with any storage built in so you’ll need to get your own card like the Kingston microSD Action Camera card for 4K video. The Hero5 battery lasts up to 2 and a half hours for 1080p at 30 frames per second. If you shoot 4K, keep the Wi-Fi on, or use the image stabilization you’ll use up battery life. Make sure to bring extra batteries to shoot the entire day. You can still use the mounts & accessories that are made for the older models. “The Frame” made specifically for the Hero5 connects to all those mounts just like in the past. If you do decide to try and use one of the older waterproof cases on the new GoPro, know that your audio won’t be as good.
