Segment deploys more than 16,000 containers on Amazon ECS to help thousands of their customers collect and leverage their customer's data. Segment have developed and open-sourced their own monitoring tools that integrate with native docker components to route and aggregate logs to monitoring tools like Amazon CloudWatch. Their open-sourced monitoring software can be used by other companies who are deploying containers at scale.
