In this episode of This Is My Architecture (amzn.to/2KouOXl), Juliano Vieira, Solutions Architect and Danilo Marques, Head of Analytics and Development at Diebold Nixdorf, explain how they designed a Lambda Architecture to process millions of transactions daily and to calculate a risk score in less than 1 second. The Online Fraud Detection solution analyzes the current user behavior using MongoDB on Amazon EC2 and the historical and exploratory analysis are made using Amazon Kinesis Data Analytics, Amazon EMR and Amazon Redshift analyzing data from the Data Lake on Amazon S3 that is fed by Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose.
