The AWS Summit was a free event designed to bring together the cloud computing community to connect, collaborate, and learn about AWS. AWS live streamed the event with the AWS Launchpad, featuring technical discussions, announcements, demos, customer interviews and live Q&A with the Twitch community. Amazon Comprehend now provides a new Document Classification API (Beta). Customers now have a single API to train and leverage a classification based on their own data and custom labels (categories). In addition, the service now support Syntax analysis —enabling customers to analyze the structure of the language in a given text. Amazon Polly is a service that turns texts into lifelike speech. Today, we are releasing time-driven prosody, a new feature which automatically adjusts the speech rate based on a maximum allotted amount of time you define.
