Apple MacBook Pro 13.3 " early 2011 Unboxing and Demo
Price: got this from eBay for 800$, new and sealed
Links:
Apple: apple.com/macbookpro
Tech Specs: apple.com/macbookpro/specs-13i...
Geekbench Scores: primatelabs.ca/geekbench/mac-b...
The 2012 MBP costs 1199$ and features the new intel i5 Ivy Bridge CPU (dual-core), 4GB of 1600Mhz RAM (but the difference is basically unnoticeable, compared with the 1333 Mhz RAM).
The new model also features the Intel HD 4000 integrated GPU with the same 384 Mb shared VRAM, but 60% more powerful.
Aside for all this, you get 2 USB 3.0 ports, a 500GB 5400 RPM HDD (which again, I highly recommend upgrading to an SSD), and finally, SATA 3 (6GB/s) support for the optical bay.
Now back to the 2011 model, you also get iLife 11 preinstalled, on you new MBP, which includes iMovie, GarageBand and iPhoto.
Upgrading to OS X Mountain Lion is possible, using the built in Mac App Store.
The new OS costs 20$ which is extremely cheap compared to high-end versions of Windows 7 that can go up to 400$.
Thank you for watching this video, as you can see, I got myself a Tripod, which I am going to review in a future video.
