Panoply is a smart data warehouse for BI and basically layers machine learning algorithms on top of Amazon Redshift. According to CEO Yaniv Levin, what these algorithms do is essentially mimic the work that's usually performed by IT and instead streamlines the entire data life cycle to analysts, data scientists, and more. "The ROI is pretty immediate," he says. "As the analysts are not engineers, they are actually able to control the entire data lifecycle from ingestion to management of the infrastructure, to optimization of their queries by themselves."
