Re-Architecting Apps for Cloud: Why, How, and So What? (Cloud Next '19)

The re-architecting approach to leverage native GCP capabilities often follows a pattern that attempts to minimize risk while providing incremental value. In this session, we will share Accenture's approach of digital decoupling that helps organizations take on re-architecting existing monoliths and legacy applications with confidence. We will share experiences from real customers and projects where this method was applied successfully to move existing complex enterprise applications to GCP. A variety of best practices and lessons learned will be discussed, along with potential implications on Organization, DevOps, Security, and Management and how such challenges can be met to ensure a successful journey to native cloud applications.
