Authority to Operate on AWS: Compliance as Code

The Authority to Operate (ATO) on AWS program aims to accelerate clients through compliance. Rather than spending months manually building compliant environments, now cloud automation can build audit-ready environments in hours. When compliance is automated, it becomes easy; however, codifying an environment is a profound change for many organizations. Existing tools, techniques, and technologies do not directly translate to the cloud. In this session, we’ll discuss the vision of the ATO on AWS program and demonstrate how compliance can be automated. You’ll learn about the benefits of automating compliant workloads in the cloud and how codifying accelerates security without sacrificing reliability.
