Cloud migrations and edge clouds seem to be on two separate ends of a Venn Diagram. Harness supports several cloud models (e.g the ultimate hybrid cloud) to match their customer’s present and future needs. They moved from AWS to GCP and for the first time to Kubernetes in less than two hours. Learn about how the switch was possible.

Before the Google Cloud for Startup offer, Harness was only leveraging Google for Ads. Now, Google Cloud has become a crucial part of their company’s infrastructure and an important training tool for their technical resources. Now Google Cloud is part of their customer acquisition and activation channels via the cloud marketplace.

Three take-a-ways:
1. Cloud migrations are not scary. Designing for the future is key.
2. Eventually, you have to pull the trigger.
3. Inventory and availability of staff is key. Well-rested = better success.
