Today, Brad talks to Greg Murray, the CISO and SVP of the massive Canadian media company, Rogers Communications. They discuss how to balance security and productivity for a workforce distributed across such a huge area, and Brad draws upon Rogers' long list of investments in professional sports teams to brainstorm some less traditional sponsorship opportunities.
Greg also talks about how his security team advises and collaborates with the business units to develop the best security protocols, and he also explains why Rogers moved their identity management to the cloud and how this has benefited both the company and its customers.
Other discussion topics: Canadian history, jazz, hedgehogs, competitive poutine eating, clowns, Teams, squirrels, burritos, maple syrup, baby names, the Thunderdome, Microsoft 365, dolphins, emoji deciphering, haircuts, Bruce Willis, and the gold medal for curling.
