Stefan Jäverbring, Group CTO of Telia Company, explains how 5G is a step change in efficiency and innovation in an interview with Ray Le Maistre, Editorial Director of Telecom TV. Stefan explores what it’s like to roll out a multi-country 5G core network: developing once and deploying six times, emphasizing the importance of automation and orchestration of cloud core. “It is easy to work with Nokia as our existing vEPC core partner to evolve into the next steps of 5G standalone”, he explains. “Having a partner who understands us, foresees our needs and is able to have discussions on the next steps is something we have with Nokia.”
