Dr. Simone Stumpf’s passion and drive centers around helping people. She works on the ORBIT project which invites people from the blind and low vision community to upload images important in their lives into a dataset. These images train a new AI model to create inclusive, personalized object recognition technology. The next step? Scaling this data into an app that anyone can use.
