WIND Hellas is the fastest growing telecom operator in Europe and runs its ‘PayTV’ service on Amazon Web Services (AWS). It has 75,000 customers, ~15,000,000 daily average service calls and with sharply increasing requests during live events - TV.

With AWS WIND Hellas has had a 100% uptime so far. WIND Hellas is the third largest telecommunications and ICT provider in Greece, providing 4G and 5G mobile services, fiber connections as well as additional IT services to Greek consumers, businesses and the public sector serving more than 3 million customers and having more than 500 Million Euros in revenues.

Usage of AWS allows WIND Hellas to get scalability, reliability and security in all its web application. WIND Hellas leverages over 20 services from AWS including Amazon EC2, Amazon Dynamo  DB and Amazon IoT for mission critical applications.
