ELPRO was looking for a modern and lean platform to host their new environmental monitoring SaaS software based on microservices. With the support of the Consulting Partner copebit, they choose AWS. AWS allows them to host containers in a serverless way using AWS Fargate, to host the frontend on S3 with no need for a web server, and to store sensors data on Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL without managing the underlying database, and to establish VPN connectivity to sensors without managing physical hardware. This allows Elpro and copebit to focus on the business value rather than on the infrastructure, effectively reducing time to market for the release new features.
