In this video, we’ll provide an overview of how the optical signal flows within an 1830 PSS network element, showing where the signal starts, how it is processed, and how it can be routed toward remote nodes. We’ll see the optical signal flow in three different node architectures, all based on the Reconfigurable OADM, or ROADM.
