Microsoft’s Chief Questions Officer Trevor Noah speaks with the Institute of Health Metrics and Evaluation at University of Washington. Maps don’t only help us get from point A to B, they help ensure critical resources are deployed to where people live – especially when disaster strikes. Many of the world’s population maps are grossly out of date – some by as much as a decade or more. Harnessing satellite imagery, machine learning, and health metrics, this groundbreaking initiative aims to elevate global health resilience around the world.

Stay tuned for more episodes of “The Prompt”. In each episode, Trevor explores with his guest a new question at the heart of the public discussion, how they are putting AI to work to solve pressing global challenges, and its impact on public safety, health, education, and more.
