Avoiding rolling hot keys with Amazon DynamoDB presented by Esteban Serna Sr. DynamoDB Specialist SA.

In this video we will discuss a situation that might happen to you specially when you are migrating information from one table to another, even if your data is very well distributed in the source table and you might have no problem at all, during the migration process if you write the data exactly in the same order that was read from the source table you might limit yourself to 1K writes per second.

This video shows 3 different tests and a simple technique to remove the rolling hot key situation.
