With all the buzz about the new iPhones and the new iOS, we decided that it’s time for some videos on the subject. A speed test between the iPhone6+ running iOS 9.1 Beta and iPhone6 running the iOS 9 GM was conducted. Let’s find out which iOS performed better.

Since the iPhone6 and iPhone6+ has similar specifications, the test results will depend mainly on the OS running on the device. iOS 9 GM or the Gold Master edition is the finalized version of the iOS 9 that is to be released in just a few days, whereas iOS 9.1 Beta is the first beta version of iOS 9.1.

The test was done to check the startup speed difference on the two devices and it was clearly visible that the iOS 9 GM started up a few seconds earlier than the iOS 9.1 Beta. From this observation it is evident that Apple has made the iOS9 to be better than even its next version’s beta. If you watched our previous video on new emojis, those emojis were released with the iOS 9.1 Beta and will not be available on the iOS9 GM.
