Google Glass Camera/Video Test
Thumbs up for the camera/video test of Google Glass!
Google Glass has surprised me in many ways. These consist of the user-interface, tactility, hardware, durability, and now the optics. When I purchased these, I knew what I was getting myself into, but didn't think it would be anything like this. For starters, the camera angle is weird. Without viewfinder on pictures, it's a crapshoot in terms of if you're looking at your subject, or just below his face. It definitely takes time to adjust, and I'll thoroughly say, I'm not there yet. Video provides you a viewfinder, and this is an art I've mastered. In terms of clarity, as long as you're not taking part in fast moving objects, it will be clear. This is for the pictures, but for video it is fine. In actual perspective, the colors are definitely distinguishable, but if you zoom on it with professional editing software, you can see the noise, blur, and much more. The camera sensor is 5MP, and video capabilities come in at 720p. Overall, I'm impressed with the camera, but there's definitely updates that can be made in future iterations of Google Glass.
