This is an overview of the Western Digital Caviar Green 3 TB SATA III 64 MB Cache hard drive. I picked up 2 of these drives for use as storage / backup in the Ultimate Gaming PC for 2012. The WD Green drives work great in this manner, they run cool and quiet. I'll be configuring these 2 WD Green drives in a RAID 1 (Mirrored) - this will provide data redundancy.
