Professor Jack Dongarra talks about BLAS and CUDA

Jack Dongarra is a University Distinguished Professor at the University of Tennessee, Distinguished Research Staff at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and a Turing Fellow at the University of Manchester. Professor Donagarra was part of a small group that worked on the initial creation of BLAS libraries which is the foundation of computational linear algebra for much of scientific computing today. In addition to BLAS, Professor Dongarra is well known for his extensive contributions to LINPACK, LAPACK, ATLAS and MPI.
