The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has similar software to what is found on the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, 8.9, and 10.1. It includes TouchWiz, which adds a variety of widgets to the home screen, a Quick Apps launcher along the bottom bar, an updated notification area, plus a different skin for the Settings app. Despite having a 1.4GHz Exynos CPU with 1GB of RAM, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 is laggy at times because of Honeycomb. Since the tablet is upgradeable to ICS, this won't be a problem for long, but buyers should be aware that performance isn't as good as expected.
