That new tablet smell isn't even off the HP TouchPad yet and already there is an improved model on its way. AT&T took the wraps off a 4G capable version of the webOS tablet this evening at a press event in New York City. While you'd think that this is just the same TouchPad as the one that hit the shelves with the exception of adding in HSPA+ support, it also happens to have a faster processor being uppsed from 1.2 GHz to 1.5. We have to admit to being a bit shocked they would announce an improved model quite this soon, but we had heard rumors of it existing already.
Beyond the bump to its processor, this is the same fingerprint magnet that it was when we first saw it. No word on a release date or pricing as of yet.
What do you think about them announcing an upgraded processor this quickly?
