Come learn about how AWS Lambda can be used to process sensor data as it is produced in real-time.This session will feature two demos. The first will show how to use AWS Lambda to automatically process Landsat satellite imagery as it is produced. Development Seed will then introduce how they process geospatial OpenStreetMap data as it is created in real-time by contributors around the world. AWS Lambda provides a low-cost and efficient solution for Development Seed by scaling from little activity to thousands of commits per hour during sponsored "mapathons."
