Buenaventura started with a private cloud, but quickly learned that the management and maintenance of a private cloud was too much for the organization to handle. It didn’t allow for flexibility as their physical sites and logistics were a challenge for this kind of environment. It allowed them to focus on their business and not on infrastructure.
