AI and driverless cars go hand in hand. If the technology is going to take off, it’s going to be crucial that vehicles can control themselves and react to the world on the fly.
Solution architect, Jan Metzner has been keen to see if he can create a similar driverless system using existing AWS technology. He set up an experiment to see if you could create one on a much smaller scale. A slot-car scale. If he could train the car to find the fastest, safest lap around a slot-car track, he could prove that similar technology could be scaled up to run the driverless cars of the very-near future.
