As we go about our day-to-day lives deeply immersed in our smartphones, we may come to believe that the future will be mostly things we see on the screens in our hands. But the future holds much more. We believe many of our usual mobile experiences will leave the device, moving instead to smart TVs or other glass interfaces, and many more will not engage our eyes at all but other senses, as we already see with wearables. Join us as we indulge in some futurism. How can we see things normally not seen? How can we have experiences without user interfaces? What could the next pattern of computing look like and how would that impact products, design and our increasingly digital lifestyles?
