Kingston Technology is celebrating 30 years! In the 80s there was great music and fashion, the stock market crash, and the personal computer was going mainstream. Kingston founders John Tu and David Sun entered the market with a single product: DRAM. They fulfilled a severe shortage of surface mount memory chips with a memory module that would serve to redefine industry standards for years to come. Fast-forward to the present day and Kingston products now include flash storage used in PCs, cameras, smartphones, servers that power the Internet, social media, and cloud storage, as well as embedded solutions used in many consumer and industrial products. In recent years Kingston has expanded to include the HyperX brand providing gamers with high quality headsets, keyboards, mice, and more! What started as two guys in a garage in 1987 is now a family of 3,000 people around the world delivering over a million units a day to over 30,000 locations worldwide.
