London Innovation Series 2017
The session commences with an overview of how several leading firms are leveraging AWS IoT to collect and act on critical data from different devices, followed by a detailed outline of how AWS IoT and machine learning works – including an overview of the AWS Rules Engine[1] in the AWS IoT landscape and the three types of predictive models used for machine learning. Neeraj further expounds on how to build smart applications with Amazon ML, followed by a brief on Amazon Rekognition and Lex services. The session concludes with a demo for a Drone Surveillance use case using Amazon Machine Learning using Python script and Alexa voice commands. The session attracts questions from the audience around significance of the AWS Rules Engine, the possibility of real time machine learning, undertaking machine learning in the absence of historical data and customer pricing for the services.
