Welcome to the Modern Application Development tutorial! We took a look at all it takes to create a web application using some of the latest tools in the app dev world. At the end of this series you'll have learned to make a site to help showcase the adorable Mythical Mysfits. You'll get a 10,000 foot view into the architecture of the application and learn some terminology like ECS, Fargate, Lambda, ELBs, and API Gateway. We kicked things off by creating a Single-Page Application (SPA) and loading data from a JSON file to dynamically change how the web app renders. We provided an overview of working in Angular and using the Angular CLI to create a project. We added some style and UI features with Bootstrap, the popular UI framework built by Twitter, and with ng-bootstrap, a library for Angular widgets built using Bootstrap.
