During the 'This is My Architecture' - amzn.to/2UdAvMZ, Rosen shared an excellent big data architecture about how to cost-efficiently query on massive advertising data in Data Lake by using S3 Select feature. The new and old architectures are presented in comparison,the new architecture is more delicate with less services by almost avoiding data transferring. It also saves big cost of removing main RDS and EMR instances, shortening the whole data processing loop, and achieving infinite volume and duration of data.
