ECS and EKS make it easy to orchestrate your docker tasks and services, but how do you get started building your first container? How do you optimize the build, and how do you push it to ECR for easy storage and distribution? In this episode, we start from the very beginning and dockerize an existing demo app. Then we talk about some of the common pitfalls to avoid when building docker images. We wrap up by pushing the image to ECR, and then pulling it to a sample docker host.
