KAIST scales its research with increased reliability and security with AWS

The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) had limited server capacity, so it turned to Amazon Web Services (AWS) to scale its research and to increase the lab’s efficiency and security with no down time. KAIST, located in South Korea, was founded in 1971 to educate scientists and to carry out basic and applied research across disciplines. To keep their research and data transport secure, KAIST uses a variety of AWS products including AWS Shield, AWS Lambda, Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS), and Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS).
