UHHM uses hip hop artifacts and the latest technology to explore hip hop as an art form and cultural force. The [R]Evolution of Hip Hop exhibit in the Bronx takes visitors through a different decade of hip hop every six months, but a constant is The Breakbeat Narratives: an interactive experience created with MIT’s Center for Advanced Virtuality and powered by Microsoft’s Conversational AI that uncovers new facts about the genre and creates a custom playlist for each visitor.
