Introducing the Intel® DevCloud Container Playground | Intel Software

With the Intel® DevCloud container playground, you can import containers from a prebuilt library of sample applications or from your own code repository, and then test it on a wide range of Intel® architectures. Use the JupyterLab environment to download, convert or optimize pre-trained models from supported deep learning frameworks with the Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ Toolkit. Import your source code hosted in a git repository and build your container images directly from the application source or Dockerfiles. Benchmark your existing container images imported from container registries. You can also test your multi-container solutions with docker-compose files and helm charts.

Intel® DevCloud is announcing a significant evolution in the capabilities we provide our users. We have rejuvenated our platform, tools and website, optimizing for features and services aligned to making Intel’s technology more accessible, demonstrable and easy to use! You can now build, test, and develop cloud-native container workloads on our platform. The Intel DevCloud now offers a seamless compute continuum from the Cloud to the Edge. You can bring your container workloads developed in major CSP infrastructure and bring it to the Edge to enhance, test, and optimize.

In the new container-based Development journey, you will be able to develop your containerized SW solution and quickly bring it to the DevCloud to test on a variety of Edge Hardware such as CPU, iGPU, VPU, and FPGA. You can build your own Containerized solution with the resources provided on our platform, and collaborate with your team members to develop solutions or share your container workload for use by others.

Use any number of retail, healthcare, industrial, and other market-specific optimized solution samples as building blocks for your solution. Try full-stack reference implementations submitted by our developer community, including many market-ready solutions from our select partners.
