A young boy wearing the PeopleLens sits on the floor of a playroom holding a blind tennis ball in his hands with three adults in a circle. He is playing a game in which he is orchestrating a group singing exercise by directing his attention to people. The PeopleLens is reading out the names of people that the child looks at in spatialized audio to give him a sense of the respective positions and distances of the people around. In doing so, the PeopleLens helps the child build a mental map of his immediate social environment.
