Intel® Active Management Technology (Intel® AMT) has been a key part of the Intel® vPro platform since its inception. Intel® Standard Manageability (ISM) is a similar management technology that has been around for several years. So how do Intel® AMT and ISM compare? ISM provides a subset of the capabilities found on Intel® AMT. Intel® AMT offers more remote management capabilities and includes exclusive features like KVM remote control.

While they have their differences, both Intel® AMT and ISM speak the same language for configuration and usage. Intel® Endpoint Management Assistant knows the supported features on each connected device and provides a single interface to manage everything.
