Altera showcases a wall of radios and multiple innovative demos, including radio enablement packages for mMIMO and Macro cell radios, five AI/ML designs for 5G, and User Plane Function (UPF) acceleration. AI/ML highlights include synchronization, CSI compression, platform tools, channel estimation, and DPD synthesis. A private 5G UPF system demonstrates 100G video traffic through FPGA-based PCIe solutions.
