Lightning talks: Sustainably nourishing the world

How do we get everyone in the world access to nutritious food grown in a sustainable way? Unlocking more value from the data in the supply chain for consumers and all participants in the supply chain. If we can capture data from every component of the food supply chain, and securely share with other parts of the supply chain, and analyze it using the latest AI algorithms, it will help drive efficiencies in each component, for example, to grow more food sustainably in the farm, enable track and trace, reduce food waste, improve productivity in food processing plants, and synthesize new food. In this session, we will hear from four Microsoft researchers on how Data and AI can help make better farming decisions, securely, privacy preserving sharing data to overcome food supply chain challenges and modernizing research and development for food production.
