5G can provide many new revenue opportunities for communications service providers (CSPs), but this depends on the extent to which they understand customer needs. To make sure CSPs provide valuable 5G services, they need to shift away from static service design and instead use the power of network intent to determine the requirements for any given customer.
Using Open APIs and open digital architecture (ODA), this catalyst project demonstrates how to manage the lifecycle of a 5G network slice through its expressed business intent.
