This includes land-based experiences (City Experiences), water-based cruise dinning experiences (City Cruises), ferry and transportation services (City Ferry), and small ship overnight cruises (American Queen Voyages). Learn how Hornblower’s Anchor Platform is leveraging AWS with a Serverless architecture to power the full operation including ticket sales, box office, merchandise, and feedback for the Statue of Liberty, Alcatraz Island, Niagara Falls, New York City Ferry, Puerto Rico Ferry, Bacardi, Navy Pier, and Maverick Helicopters at scale! The Anchor Platform processes over 50 million guests per year purely on AWS Lambdas and Amazon DynamoDB. It can handle more than 5000 requests per second without any loss of requests, latency, or stress.  The guest journey is built on using AWS Lambdas, DynamoDB, AWS AppSync, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon SQS, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB Stream.
