The State of California upgrades its public safety communications network CAPSNET

Mission-critical networks keep us powered, keep us moving and keep us safe. Public safety communications networks are essential for public safety operations and responders like police, fire, search and rescue, emergency medical teams and more. Keeping communications flowing smoothly and ensuring access whenever and wherever it’s needed means more lives protected. The California Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) CAPSNET network provides mission-critical public safety communications for the US State of California. That means their network helps responders protect 38 million residents across 160,000 square miles.
