AI methods for understanding implicit structures in medical records
Medical records are complex, nuanced and very often hard to use by even medical professionals. The requirement of focused human cognition and the lack of the right tools have hindered many innovation and process improvement opportunities. In this talk, we will show our latest progress on developing AI methods to model and visualize structures in medical records that are inherent but implicit. Our approach includes classic machine learning methods, neural nets, as well as fine-tuning of language models.
